Thank you for supporting us through our online fundraiser!!! While this was not an ideal way to say goodbye and thank all of you for your ongoing investment in our journey, it was neat to connect with you all in different ways. Thank you immensely for the prize donations, the ticket purchases, the notes and the prayers. We are so grateful or the funds we raised. These will be used to pay for our tickets, as they will cost twice or three times as much as we had originally planned, due to covid.
Due to covid, we have booked and rebooked our flights a few times. They have been cancelled again, and we are waiting to rebook. At this point we are unsure of when we will leave. The borders to the DR are scheduled to open on July 1. If they open, we will book and leave when we can. We will definitely keep you all posted!
